Ghanaian talent Abdul Aziz Issah has been nominated for the 2024 Young Player of the Year award.
Issah’s remarkable performance for Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup last season did not go unnoticed, earning him nomination for the prestigious award.
He scored four goals last term as the Still Believe lads reached a historic semi-final berth in the Confederation Cup.
The talented attacking midfielder faces competition from Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations star Lamine Camara, as well as Karim Konate of Salzburg, Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, and Yakuba Minteh of Brighton and Senegal.
Aside his nomination in the Young Player category, the talented midfielder has been shortlisted for the CAF Inter-club Player of the Year award, alongside his compatriot and former Dreams FC teammate John Antwi.
Aziz Issah’s stellar performance earned him a loan move to Spanish giants, Barcelona. He is currently playing for the club’s team B.
