The Municipal Chief Executive for Bawku Central, Hon Amadu Hamza presented a total of 200 dual desks to the Municipal Education Director to augment the existing desks in our public schools.
The MCE stated that the provision of these desks will go a long way to improve what was already in place in our various schools in the municipality.
He expressed hope that more of such will be provided to enhance quality of teaching and learning.
As an educationist himself, he is of the view that provision of these basic needs in the educational sector should be made available at the right time for the betterment of quality education, and distribution of these desks should be done in the various schools now.
He charged the Municipal Education Director to ensure the proper use of the desks and inculcate the habit of maintenance in order to prolong their life span.
