Dan Kwaku Botwe, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) campaign chairman for the 2024 elections, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer, is not under any pressure to declare who his running mate is.
Despite seeking more time from the party’s National Council, Dr. Bawumia has come under fire for the protracted delay in revealing his running mate.
Speaking to reporters in Kumasi, Dan Botwe gave his word that the flagbearer would declare his preferred candidate at the appropriate moment.
‘We have not mentioned a particular candidate and no such discussion has come up but finding a running mate has never been our problem. It has never been a contentious issue for us.”
