Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been praised by the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, for his outstanding leadership and charity, highlighting the tremendous influence he has had on people’s lives.
In his statement during the 2024 National Eid ul Adha prayers in Accra, Sheikh Sharubutu praised Dr. Bawumia for leveraging the advantages of his leadership role to help others.
At the Independence Square, thousands of Ghanaians attended the event, including the vice president.
“God honoured him with leadership and he has used that honour to serve people well. Not everyone does that,” Sheikh Sharubutu remarked.
“What excites me about Dr. Bawumia is that both Muslims and non-Muslims are beneficiaries of his leadership and kindness.”
The National Chief Imam conveyed his appreciation to Allah for providing the country with a leader that embodies diversity—Dr. Bawumia.
“I want to express gratitude to the Almighty Allah for giving us a generous and kind person like Dr. Bawumia, who supports not only Muslims but all people from diverse backgrounds,” he added.
The national Eid ul Fitr prayers drew thousands of people, including NPP flagbearer Dr. Bawumia. Sheikh Sharubutu emphasized that Dr. Bawumia has had a tremendous effect with his leadership position by demonstrating selflessness and helping individuals from different communities with his compassion and leadership.
