The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for 2020 elections in the Sagnarigu Constituency, Madam Felicia Tettey has called on the party delegates to give the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawunia a resounding victory at the presidential primaries.
She said this when she was addressing a gathering of party supporters at the launch of Bawunia Must Win (BMW), a pro-Bawunia group created to garner votes for the veep to the next flagbearer going into 2024 elections.
“I am very passionate about breaking the 8. We can not afford to hand power to the incompetent ones. If we are really go ing to break the 8, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawunia is the answer. He has proven beyond all reasonable doubts ; he is competent. He is committed. He is loyal. And most importantly, he has been consistent in running the affairs of this party, hence the power we are in today”, she told the gathering.
“If are indeed hungry to break the 8, it must not stop here. I must commend the organisers of the programme. We must go back to our various constituencies. Let’s work hard. Let’s give him 80 to 90% to make him our presidential candidate”, madam precious stone as she is affectionately called added.
