Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has once again stated his belief that he will win the next elections.
“I will be crowned winner before the Electoral Commission even makes its official declaration.”
He concluded his visit of the region with these comments at a community engagement in the Volta Region’s Anlo constituency.
Dr. Bawumia claims that he has enough information from his campaign tour, which included more than 200 of the 275 constituencies, to establish that the NPP is winning handily.
“The NDC is fully aware of that. There is no doubt that by the time the NPP completes its collation by midnight of December 7, I will emerge victorious.”
Additionally, Dr. Bawumia questioned the legitimacy of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“Why would the NDC, who failed to perform in every sector of the economy, walk with their heads held high, believing the Ghanaian people will allow them to come to power again?” he quizzed.
“The NDC is an empty alternative and shouldn’t be allowed near the reins of power,” Dr. Bawumia added.
