Following Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s election as the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate in the 2024 elections, the Vice President has wasted no time in outlining his vision for Ghanaians.
While giving his victory address at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Vice President took use of the occasion to inform the people of Ghana of his goals and the importance of giving him and his party a majority in the next election.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is seen by the New Patriotic Party as the most qualified leader to realize the party’s goal of ending the eight-year cycle of rule that has defined the country since its democratic transition.
Dr. Bawumia promised to improve the lives of Ghanaian youth after becoming overcome and overjoyed by the trust party members and supporters had placed in him.
“I want to lead a nation that improves and unleashes the talents of our youth and offers good jobs with good pay and sustainable growth with macroeconomic discipline,” he pledged.
He added, “As the presidential candidate of the NPP, it would be my commitment to the youth of Ghana. The talent of our youth in various sectors such as information technology, robotics, entrepreneurship, creative arts, sports, etc. is just amazing.”
“When we bring the talents of the youth together, we will surely build a mighty nation. Together, we can transform this nation and even do more in many areas,” the Veep emphasized.
