Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his entourage visited Rev. Owusu Bempah and his congregation today during their Christmas and last Sunday of 2022 Church Service.
The Vice President was accompanied by Dr. Gideon Boako, his Economic Advisor and Director of the National Lottery Authority, Sammi Awuku.
Dr. Bawumia and Sammi Awuku took turns to address Rev Owusu Bempah and his congregation, indicating the visit was to wish them a merry Christmas in festive season.
An undisclosed sum of money in a big brown envelope was presented to the church by the Vice President and his entourage.
Rev. Owusu Bempah who was a pivot spiritual leader for the ruling NPP in both the 2016 and 2020 elections seem not to be in good terms with the party for sometime now and therefore the visit by the Vice President have generated several commentaries on social media.
