Seventy-three (73) Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates and two (2) private candidates have had their entire results cancelled, according to WAEC.
In a press statement announcing the release of the BECE results, it emphasised that the candidates were punished for bringing mobile phones into the examination hall.
The statement added that 416 school candidates and 3 private candidates also had their entire subjects cancelled for bringing foreign materials into the examination hall.
