Candidates for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the new Juaben North Municipality has started their final year exam with full energy in the Eastern Region.
One thousand, two hundred and thirty-nine (1,239) candidates were dispatched to four (4) accredited examination centres in the municipality by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).

The municipal education director, Member of Parliament, Municipal Chief Executive and other authorities toured the centers in the municipality
New Juaben North Lawmaker, Hon Nana Osei Adjei advised the examinees to focus on what they were thought and learned in their classrooms.
Hon. Nana Osei pledged to supports first twenty (20) with single grade with provisions to gain access to Senior High School in their first year.

He explained that the promise will motivate the young learners to deliver their best in the examination.
The Municipality Chief Executive for the municipality, Hon. Samuel Adongo urged the students be calm and perform their best in the municipality.
He called on them to do away of spirit of fear to come out with flying colors.

In line with the Member of Parliament committment to education, Hon Samuel Adongo also promised to supports first ten (10) with single grade with provisions to gain access to Senior High School.
Madam Hilda Amegatcher Brakohiapa, the municipal education director for the New Juaben North Municipality, expressed that they have prepared the students with orientation seminars to achieve good grades.
26 public schools and 17 private schools
593 boys and 644 girls

The centers include Pope John’s Senior High School, Ghana Senior High School, SDA Senior and Oyoko Methodist Senior School.
