The Bechem Traditional Council in Ahafo Region has invoked curse against an unknown native living abroad for insulting Bechem Omanhene Nana Fosu Gyeabour Akoto II, the Omanhemaa, Nana Serwaa Adwoa-PO Dwamena I and Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.
The unidentified man reportedly released a video with hate content to various social media platforms which have since gone viral bringing the image of the stool and Asanteman to disrepute.
At a traditional meeting held at the Bechem Palace Tuesday and attended by all the sub-chiefs who wore black and red clothes signifying their contempt, a council slaughtered a sheep and poured libation calling on the spirit of the gods and ancestors to deal with the person if he fails to render an unqualified apology and pacify the stool.
Omanhemaa of Bechem, Nana Serwaa Adwoa-PO Dwamena I, also told Bryt FM Correspondent Kojo Mframa that, the traditional council will deal with any person who dares to insult traditional leader especially Asantehene.
