Bechem United winger Augustine Okrah has emerged as a transfer target for Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak.
The former Kotoko player enjoyed an amazing campaign with the Hunters, scoring 14 goals in the just-ended Ghana Premier League season. He also bagged four goals in five MTN FA Cup games.
Okrah has become a subject of interest for several clubs in Ghana and abroad due to his superlative performance with Hearts of Oak no exception.
He was unable to finish the FA Cup final against Hearts of Oak after receiving a red for headbutting an assistant referee but Okrah was outstanding in the minutes he played for the club.
According to reports, the Phobians have identified Okrah as one of the players who can help the club to excel in the African campaign next season.
Hearts coach Samuel Boadu is believed to be a huge admirer of the 28-year-old and has been monitoring his progress at Bechem.
Hearts of Oak will be representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League campaign next season after beating Bechem United 2-1 to win the FA Cup trophy.
Meanwhile, the enterprising winger is said to be on the radar of Tanzanian giants Simba SC and Azam FC.
