Bechem United forward Prince Adu Kwabena has been asked to hold on his Black Stars call-up.
Report went rife that the talented forward has been handed a late call-up to the Black Stars for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications but according to the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Nana Kwasi Darling the player has been told to hold onto his invitation.
Ghana takes on Sudan in a doubleheader with the encounter set for 12 November 2020 at the Cape Coast stadium.
The reverse fixture will take place at the Al-Hilal Stadium in Omdurman on 17 November 2020.
“Prince Adu Kwabena was handed call-up but later on he was asked to hold on. I know CK Akonnor is in charge of the national team, he invited him but I don’t know what happened. Per the information from my President, Adu Kwabena has to wait” he said.
The 17-year-old was a revelation in the Ghana Premier League last season where he netted 8 goals in 14 games before the championship was terminated due to the coronavirus outbreak.
