Berekum Chelsea coach Seth Hoffman has blamed loss of concentration to his side defeat against Asante Kotoko in matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 2-0 win over the Berekum based club at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
At the post-match conference, the former Hearts of Oak trainer attributed their defeat to loss of concentration and failure to convert chances.
“It’s a great game and tactically we started well but we didn’t utilize our chances and caught us ball watching to score a goal and we put all we have to put to get the equalizer we went to recess we came and you could see under one minute we got a penalty but unfortunately for our boy, Bright to convert that goal.”
“But all the same we create a lot of chances but we didn’t utilize it but I will say my boys just lose a little concentration but are good game and I will say we have made one or two mistakes from the defensive third.”
“Kotoko started well and because they have won I will give them the credit. We give them a good game but I will say we gave them the goals. We will go back and work for other games,” he said.
Berekum Chelsea are 12th on the league table with 24 points.
