Ghana’s Black Meteors will begin camping for the U-23 African Cup of Nations qualifiers on Wednesday, September 10, 2022.
The players are expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram to begin preparations for the qualifiers.
Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko handed call-ups to 27 players.
Ghana will begin the qualifiers in the second round after being exempted from the first round.
Meanwhile, six players who participated in the Black Galaxies CHAN qualifiers have been given a week’s break by coach Ibrahim Tanko.
The players include Augustine Randolph, Suraj Seidu, Dominic Nsobila, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Samuel Osei Kuffour and Danlad Ibrahim.
The next U-23 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Morocco next year.
