The Black Meteors has defeated lower Division club, Uncle T United in a friendly game ahead of the U23 AFCON tournament.
The Ghana U23 team inflicted a heavy 3-0 victory over the Division One League outfit on Thursday morning at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.
In the past few weeks, coach Ibrahim Tanko and his charges have been preparing massively at the same place for the upcoming AFCON tourney to be staged in Morocco later this month.
A first half goal from Afriyie Barnieh and a second half brace Godwin Bentil propelled the Black Meteors to a resounding victory.
Ghana U23 has been pitted in Group A against host country, Morocco, Guinea and Congo.
Ibrahim Tanko and his side are keen on ending the Black Meteors Olympic Games hoodoo.
Ghana last participated in the Olympic Games in 2004, Athens.
