The Black Princesses of Ghana are currently in Bogotá, Colombia ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The team departed Accra Tuesday evening and arrived in Bolgota, the Colombian capital on Wednesday.
Ghana are making their seventh consecutive appearance at the World Cup but are yet to live up to expectations.
The team have not make it out of the group stage in the past six editions and are determined to make a meaningful impact this time.
Two weeks to the start of the tournament, the Black Princesses led by coach Yussif Basigi have already arrived in Colombia.
This will help the players to get themselves acquainted with the weather condition in the South American country before the commencement of the tournament.
The team will engage in a couple of international friendly matches before the tournament officially kicks start on August 31, 2024.
The Black Princesses will open their campaign against Austria on September 2 before taking on Japan and New Zealand in the other group E matches.
