Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi is confident about the Black Queens chances ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The senior women’s national team has made a return to the biggest continental women’s tournament after beating Namibia 3-2 on aggregate.
Ghana missed out in 2022 but staged a return to the tournament under Swiss trainer Nora Hauptle.
Speaking in an interview, Basigi, who is well vest in football insists the Black Queens can annex the trophy next year.
“From what l saw against Namibia despite we losing in the second leg by a 1-0 away from home, l think Queens can win the 2024 WAFCON; it is still early days but it is possible,” he added.
The 2024 WAFCON has been scheduled to take place in Morocco next year.
