Ghana international midfielder, Clifford Aboagye has joined Mexican Liga MX side Club Puebla on a season-long loan ahead of the new season from Club Tijuana.
The former Ghana youth star joins the club until the end of the 2021 season after fruitful negotiations, the club has announced.
His move to Club Puebla becomes the fourth club in Mexico for the Black Stars midfielder having had stints with Rojinegros del Atlas, Querétaro and Xolos de Tijuana.
The enterprising midfielder made nine appearances for Club Tijuana in his debut season which ended a few months ago.
Aboagye won the bronze ball at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup staged in Turkey.
He recently earned a call-up to the senior national team of Ghana by Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor ahead of Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Sudan.
