Ghana international Ibrahim Sulemana could switch to join Serie A side Atalanta ahead of the 2024/25 football campaign.
The Black Stars midfielder has caught the attention of his former employers following his outstanding performance for Cagliari in the recently concluded season.
According to reports, talks between Atalanta and Cagliari for the acquisition of the midfield enforcer are far advanced, however, Sulemana could make a return to his former club.
Sulemana was delight to watch in his debut season with Cagliari, helping the club to escape the drop at the end of the campaign.
He managed 16 appearances and contributed two goals under manager Claudio Ranieri.
His outstanding performance in the recently concluded campaign earned him his maiden call up into the Black Stars last month.
Sulemana went to debut for the Black Stars in the 2-1 win over Mali in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in May.
