The Black Stars players will pocket an amount of US$5000 each for their victory against Ethiopia in the World Cup qualifications.
Ghana defeated the Walia Ibex of Ethiopia 1-0 last Friday in the Group G opener at the Cape Coast stadium courtesy of Mubarak Wakaso’s strike in the 35th minute.
Despite losing to South Africa in matchday two of the qualifications, the players have been rewarded with an amount of US$5000 each for winning one of the two matches.
Ghana is now tied on points with Ethiopia, three points, and is behind South Africa who currently leads the standings with four points.
