Technical Advisor of the Black Stars Chris Hughton has assured Ghanaians of World Cup qualification.
Ghana will play the Super Eagles in a two-legged encounter on Friday with the winner securing one of the five slots on the African continent.
The first leg of the titanic qualifying tie will be played on March 25 at the Baba Yara Stadium. Four days later, the two giants will meet again in Abuja with the aggregate winner qualifying for the tournament later this year.
Speaking to the Ghana FA media, the former Norwich City and Brighton boss noted Ghanaians want to see the team in Qatar, saying the team is committed to securing qualification.
“We strongly believe we have the quality, desire and hunger to achieve the results that we want, it is our aim to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar and we all have a duty to make that dream a reality”
“Ghana has done it before and we can guarantee you that every Ghanaian wants to see the team in Qatar and we are committed to that. We are Ghana and we are ready.”
