The Black Stars are expected to open camp on Monday, September 4, 2023, ahead of their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central Africa Republic.
The four-time AFCON winners will face the Wild Beasts at the Baba Yara Stadium in a thrilling encounter in Kumasi.
The visitors must beat Ghana at all cost to secure qualification to the continental showpiece but Ghana are just a point away from securing a spot at the AFCON.
The players are expected to report to camp on Monday following their weekend games for their respective clubs.
Per sources close to the team, ten players have arrived in camp to commence preparation for the epic clash.
At the weekend, Ghana coach Chris Hughton unveiled his 25-man squad for the much-anticipated encounter, with Jonathan Sowah being the only local player to have made the squad.
Unfortunately for Hughton, seven key players have been ruled out of the crucial scheduled for Thursday as Ghana eye record 24th AFCON qualification.
Deputy captain, Thomas Partey, Kamaldeen Sulemana, goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot, Daniel Amartey, Majeed Ashimeru, Benjamin Tetteh and Mohammed Salisu have all been ruled out.
Meanwhile, players like Richard Ofori, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Elisha Owusu and Baba Rahman have made a return to the team.
