Fresh produce processing giant Blue Skies Ghana is mourning the sudden passing of its Chief Agronomist, Mr. Ernest Adjei Abloh, who died on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Sources indicate that the Abloh attended the niece’s funeral during the weekend. After the thanksgiving service Sunday he decided to have some rest but never woke up.
The Blue Skies company announced the in a statement, described Mr. Abloh as a dedicated professional whose expertise and leadership significantly advanced Blue Skies’ mission of sustainable, high-quality fruit production.
“It is with deep sadness that Blue Skies announces the passing of our esteemed Chief Agronomist, Mr. Ernest Adjei Abloh, on Sunday 6th July 2025. He was a valued member of our team, known for his dedication, expertise, and passion for sustainable agriculture.

Mr. Abloh was widely respected within the agricultural sector for his innovative approaches and commitment to environmentally friendly farming practices.
Under his leadership, Blue Skies strengthened its sustainable sourcing systems and made notable strides in promoting environmentally responsible agriculture in Ghana and beyond.
The company extended its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues, noting that while his presence would be greatly missed, his contributions and values would continue to guide the company’s operations.
