The ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, has retained the Suhum Parliamentary seat with Oboafo Kwadwo Asante as Member of Parliament elect.
Oboafo Kwadwo Asante succeeds outgoing MP Opare Ansah who lost to him during the NPP primaries.
Meanwhile, President Akufo Addo obtained 33,192 votes as against 18,962 by John Mahama.
