Benjamin Yaw Gyarko, Municipal Chief Executive for Techiman the Bono East regional capital and his colleague from Techiman North District, Hon. Everson Addo-Donkor has unanimously commended the Eureka Garages Association at Tuobodom for their enormous contribution towards development.
According Hon. Addo-Donkor Everson, while some associations used their dues or resources on the funfair and other unnecessary expenditures but still prevailed upon the Assembly for the provision of roads, water, electricity and other amenities; Eureka Garages Association have proven to be different.
He gave these commendations when they joined a host of dignitaries to commission an ultramodern 24-Seater Toilet facility with an office & bath, a Mechanized Borehole and also cut sod for the construction of Auditorium Complex Center for artisans at the Light Industrial Area commonly known as Tuobodom Magazine.
On the part of Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko MCE for Techiman urged other associations to emulate the shining examples of Eureka Garages pledging the President Akuffo-Addo led NPP Government’s readiness to support any development-oriented groups like the Eureka Garages.
Finally, Mr Kusi Appiah, Chairman for the Eureka Garages Association noted that development is not meant for only the government but rather a shared responsibility.
