The Member of Parliament for Techiman South in the Bono East Region, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has donated 200 bunk beds and 400 students’ mattresses to the Yeboah Asuamah Senior High at Nsuta in the Techiman Municipality.
The Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development also presented four street lights to improve security on the school’s campus at night.
This initiative is part of the progressive projects made by the MP to spearhead the development of his constituency.
During a short ceremony to present the items, Hon. Adjei-Mensah Korsah charged the students to focus on their education as authorities are determined to make the most critical investments in their education.
Meanwhile, some students of Yeboah Asuamah Senior High School expressed appreciation to the MP and the government for the kind gesture.
They seized the opportunity to ask for more as they seek to have a dining hall facility, additional dormitories, and classroom blocks.
