The Nkoranza South Municipal Assembly led by the Coordinating Council Director, Mr. Charles Ferka donated three hundred (300) pieces of cutlasses and thirty-six (36) wellington boots to the Nkoranza South Municipal Fire Station in the Bono East Region.
The donation is to enable the Fire Service to help fire volunteers clamp down bush fires within the Municipality and its rural communities in the region.
The Municipal Fire Officer, DO II Oppong Gyamfi, who received the donation, thanked and assured the Assembly that their donation will be used for the intended purpose.
He further used the opportunity to call on Civil Societies, Benevolent Ghanaians, NGOs, and Corporate Ghana to emulate such kind gestures.
