Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, MP for Techiman South Constituency in the Bono East Region who is also Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development has reiterated that the NPP’s infrastructural development agenda continues unabated irrespective of the current Global Economic challenges.
He touted that in the Techiman South constituency alone, his personal efforts in collaboration with the Techiman Municipal Assembly have seen the construction of roads, bridges, markets, schools, and water and electricity expansions just to mention a few therefore Ghanaians should not give attention to the opposition parties’ propaganda that the Government has not done anything.
Hon. Adjei-Mensah Korsah made this disclosure when he commissioned an ultra-modern 2-Storey 6-unit Classroom block with offices and a 6-seater W/C toilet facility for the Nawarodin Islamic School at New Ayinabrem in Techiman.
For his part, Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko, the MCE for Techiman commended the Government for providing for the infrastructure needs of schools in the municipality acknowledging the contributions of his predecessor Hon. John Kofi Donyinah and the former MP Hon. Henry Yiadom Boakye towards these projects.
Mr John Kwadwo Amissah, the Techiman Municipal Education Director expressed appreciation and called on the Headmaster & Staff of the school to inculcate the culture of maintenance towards the facility in order to last longer.
