The Bono East Regional Police Command has arrested three (3) persons namely; Prosper Kwame Boaho 25 years and Kobina Domanle 47 years, all with Gaza Security Company and Dzahile Kofi Anoumou Delali alias Mark, a dealer in cashew nut for unlawful possession of guns and impersonation as Police officers.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mr. Amponsa Bosie Dankwa, Bono East Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service narrated in an interview with the media in Techiman explained how the suspects posed as Police personnel.
He explained the suspects were arrested with one pump action gun with 22 BB live cartridges and a locally manufactured single barrel gun with seven (7) BB cartridges.
ASP Amponsa Bosie Dankwa added that all the three have been remanded into Police custody by the Techiman Circuit Court to reappear at a later date.
He further advised individuals and organizations in and around the region to exercise due diligence in contracting security personnel as most of them work in hand with criminals.
