The Chief Executive of NHIA Dr. Okoe Boye presents two new NHIS branded vehicles to Sunyani Municipal and Jaman South district offices as he tours the Bono Region on Monday.
The vehicles are to aid in the day to day activities and operations of the districts as they work towards the increase in membership enrollments to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030.
Meanwhile, the tour of the Bono region also ended with the commissioning of the Dormaa East and Jaman North District offices.
The newly constructed offices will provide a conducive working environment for staff to deliver on their targets and also bring Health Insurance services close to the people in the catchment area.
Present at the commissioning was the Bono Regional Minister Hon. Justina Owusu – Banahene, CEO of NHIA Dr Okoe Boye, DCE of Dormaa East, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman, DCE of Jaman North Hon. Solomon Owusu, heads of health facilities, Chiefs, major stakeholders in the region, and other senior management members of the NHIA.
