The Bono Regional minister, Justina Awo Banahene has stated emphatically that the progress of education in her region is her priority and will make every child get access to it.
Speaking at the Ghana National Association of Private Schools Bono Regional GNAPS week Launching, the minister commended the efforts of private schools for their contributions to the nation’s development and promised to support the private schools in her region at all times.
Pastor Seth Sarfo, who spoke on behalf of the Regional GNAPS Chair said, private schools have been badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and are still struggling to bounce back.
He added that some state institutions are sabotaging private schools as means of boosting public schools which is negatively affecting their activities.
Mrs Alberta Agyemang who represented the Regional Education Directorate also expressed his appreciation to the private schools for their maximum contributions to the country’s education sector and assured them of their support and attention.
