A book of condolence has been made available at the offices of New Day TV in Takoradi for the late Michael Osei, fondly remembered as Nana Yaw Osei Tenkorang.
Management of the TV station is inviting colleagues, friends, and members of the public to pay their respects and extend their condolences to the bereaved family during this challenging time.
They are encouraged to share fond memories or messages of support in the book.
Nana Yaw Osei Tenkorang, who served as the morning show host on New Day TV, was tragically discovered deceased in his room at Takoradi.
Despite his routine schedule, he failed to appear for work on Monday, February 4, 2024, for a live show prompting concerns.
His production team made several Phone calls but all went unanswered.
They went to his house and noticed his doors were all locked while the phone kept ringing in the room.
With the assistance of other tenants, his room was accessed, only to find him unresponsive on his bed.
He was rush to the hospital but declared dead upon arrival.
About 35 years old, Nana Yaw Osei Tenkorang was a fourth-year Public Relations student at Islamic University.
He had garnered significant experience in the media industry, having previously worked with various local media outlets in Koforidua, including Starr TV.
Expressing profound sorrow, Kwaku Nkansah Obrempon, a close friend of Nana Yaw Osei Tenkorang, lamented, “With a heavy heart, I announce to you the sudden demise of our brother and friend, Michael Osei (Nanasei). His lifeless body was found in his room on Monday, 05-02-2024, at his residence in Takoradi. I urge all affected persons to remember the family in prayers as we mourn him.”
Nana Yaw Osei Tenkorang is survived by his wife and two children, who reside in Akyem Tafo, Eastern Region.
