Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has resumed training with his teammates, which come as huge boost for Ghana ahead of the AFCON qualifiers.
Lamptey picked a knock after 16 minutes while in action for Brighton against West Ham United on March 4 and had to be subbed off.
The 22-year-old missed his outfit 2-2 draw against Leeds United last Saturday.
Despite picking an injury, he was named in Chris Hughton’s 25-man squad for the AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
But the defender has made a quick injury return and is expected to be available for Ghana during the qualifiers.
The four-time African champions will play host to Angola on March 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium before the reverse fixture in Luanda on March 27.
The Black Stars lead Group E of the qualifiers with four points, followed by Angola who are also on four points before Central African Republic and Madagascar follow in that order.
