Some residents of Bunso and Nsutam in Eastern Region have clashed over a piece of land renewing long term boundary dispute in the area.
The clash occured over a piece of land located near Bunso Junction off the Accra to Kumasi Highway.
Both chiefs in Bunso and Nsutam are claiming ownership of the area.
The clash occured Tuesday morning when some persons from Bunso attempted to erect a sign post indicating the area is part of Bunso.
In a video that captured the malee, the two factions were seen fighting each other while the sign post was being brought down.
It is not clear if someone sustained injuries.
The boundary dispute has been lingering between to the two factions for a long time .
Even politically , it became an issue between Abuakwa North and Fanteakwa South assemblies.
Revenue collectors from both assemblies used to clash over revenue collection in Bunso Junction and Linda Dor Restaurant area.
Security analysts believes the Ghana Boundary commission must find solution the the impasse to avert insecurity in the area.
