Head coach of Aduana Stars W.O Tando is facing the sack at the club following his disparaging comments on Maxwell Konadu and Kotoko at large.
The beleaguered coach after guiding his side securing a 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday described The Porcupine Warriors and its coaches as a ‘Village Team.’
According to the spokesperson of the club, Evans Oppong his outfit has rendered an apology to Coach Maxwell Konadu and his club Asante Kotoko.
He also stated emphatically that Aduana Stars distance themselves from the statement made by Paul Tandoh on the radio last night.
“Aduana Stars would like to distance ourselves from the comments of Coach W. O. Paul Tandoh, it doesn’t represent our views, it’s his own personal view,” Oppong told Fox FM.
“We apologize to Asante Kotoko, to coach Maxwell Konadu, to the Coaches Association and all affected parties.
“We as a club will make a decision on him and it could be any decision; we could suspend him or make a new appointment of a new coach to replace him”.
Aduana Stars currently lie in the third position on the Ghana Premier League table after match week eleven.
