A woman in her late thirties has been found dead at Oyoko, a suburb of Koforidua in the New Juaben north municipality of the Eastern region.
The deceased, Gifty Tetteh, in her late twenties was found lying in a pool of blood with many injuries on her head.
It seems she was hit with an object severally at his head before her demise.
Meanwhile, the deceased boyfriend by name Abeiku, a driver is alleged to be the suspect and has since escaped to an unknown location.
According to report, the suspect who comes from the Central Region is a driver who ply Koforidua-Kasoa road.
He is suspected to either be hiding in Suhum or fled to the Central region.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue pending investigations.
However, her three children seem to be traumatised since the incident broke out as they cannot control themselves with the demise of their mother.
