Chinese TV Broadcasting giants StarTimes has acquired the TV rights to broadcast the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
They beat off competition from six other media giants.
A statement on their Facebook page reads: ”StarTimes has acquired the TV rights to broadcast the Ghana Premier League. Stay connected for more details. It’s a good time to be on StarTimes!”
Details of the deal will be announced in the coming hours.

StarTimes TV were the official TV partners of the GFA under the then FA President Kwasi Nyantakyi’s administration but withdrew from the contract during the Normalization period of Ghana football.
Ghana FA boss Kurt Okraku has already confirmed that the already ongoing GPL will be on TV by next week Sunday when week three fixtures will be played.
