The Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti-Morkwa constituency in the Central region, Chief David Vondee has unambiguously explained that the popular political slogan by the New Patriotic Party “Breaking the 8”, is a wise saying which actual interpretation means, the dollar rather breaks the 8 but not the NPP as a political party in government.
Chief David Vondee added that “as we speak, the prices of fuel and other goods have already broken the 8 all as a result of gross mismanagement and incompetence of the NPP government”.
He said power has suddenly metamorphosed President Akufo-Addo such that, he does not listen to the cry of Ghanaians to the extreme extent of sitting in the heart of the stronghold of the NPP to tell them that “voting for NPP or NDC is their choice, I cannot force you to vote for NPP”.
Meanwhile, the Twifo Atti-Morkwa constituency National Democratic Congress chairman, Mr Hakim Addai called on the newly elected constituency party executives and all party members to be led by unity so that the NDC can make Twifo Atti-Morkwa a no-go area for the NPP.
Mr Hakim Addai assured the NDC in the Central region is committed and determined to work hard to win a majority of the seats in the region for the NDC in 2024.
