The chief executive officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong has said, for the New Patriotic Party to break the eight years in office record, the party needs to lay a good foundation in its internal Election in 2022.
According to, if the structure and process are free, fair, and transparent, the party will break through in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Election.
In an interview with Citi TV’s Face to face show monitored by mybrytfmonline.com, Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong said the 2024 Election is about records in NPP’s eight years in office compared to the leading opposition party (NDC), but if there is division after the NPP’s internal Election, the party will struggle for victory.
He said the NPP had never had a bad presidential candidate, but the main challenge is bad managers of the party and called leaders of the party to start working on their Internal Election immediately.
For some time now, posters are trending on social media platforms projecting Mr. Kodua Frimpong to contest for the General Secretary position of the party, but in an interview, he said he has not declared his intention because it is against the party’s rules.
According to him, although it is positive from a positive point and can bring positive results to him over the unknown campaign on social media, he is considering and will talk about it when it is due.
Justin Kodua Frimpong is a young astute lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. He was born on the 14th of November 1982 in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
He attended Opoku Ware Senior High School in Kumasi before proceeding to Hackney Community College, London, where he obtained a certificate in Information Communication Technology (ICT).
After his studies abroad, he relocated to Ghana and enrolled at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi, where he studied Land Economy. He went on to read law at the same university before being admitted into the Ghana School of Law from where he was called to the Bar. He also holds a Certificate in Financial Management from the Institute of Commercial Management, Bournemouth, United Kingdom.
Mr. Frimpong, though young, has diverse working experience both in abroad and Ghana. He is a former employee of Super sport Limited (United Kingdom) and with the experience acquired from the company was very instrumental in the organization of CAN 2008 which was hosted in Ghana. He is also a former employee of Jo-Mint Associates Limited, an indigenous construction company.
Until his appointment by the government in February 2017 as the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), he practiced his law profession with Adomako Kwakye Law Consult where he teamed up with the Senior Partner to handle numerous cases from corporate litigation, arbitration to land matters. Mr. Kodua Frimpong is married and he is a fan of soccer and board games.
