Leading NPP member Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko hinted that the party will need to put in a lot of effort if it is to break the eight in 2024 and win the general elections.
During her visit to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s Kyibi constituency, Gabby praised the delegates for their landslide vote for Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and expressed her happiness with the process.
He said that the tremendous affection and support for the vice president is a sign of the public’s deep faith in the administration.
“When I got here, it was peaceful, and it is the president’s constituency, and they have voted overwhelmingly for the Vice President. They came out to vote massively for the Vice President, and it shows that they have confidence in the government,” Gabby told the media.
“We have a lot of work to do to break the eight-year cycle, but it starts with massively endorsing the candidate so that we don’t encounter problems,” he emphasized further.
