Brighton and Hove Albion manager Graham Potter has confirmed Tariq Lamptey will miss the rest of the season due to injury.
Lamptey, who joined Brighton from Chelsea prior to the start of the 2020-21 seasons, has established himself as an integral member of the team.
But unfortunately, the 20-year-old who has been unavailable since December due to a hamstring injury has been ruled for the rest of the season.
“Tariq Lamptey’s hamstring hasn’t responded as well as we’d like. We’re looking at the surgery which means he will miss the rest of the season” Potter told reporters.
