Mayor of the New Juaben South Metropolitan Assembly Ransford Boakye is bent to increase the Internally Generated Funds (IGF) of the municipality.
With a pool of companies and other jobs in the metropolis, Mr Boakye is confident his outfit can improve on revenue under his watch.
“I’m determined to improve our revenue. I will ensure we have effective revenue collectors to mobilize funds for the municipality” he told Koforidua-based Bryt FM in an exclusive interview.
“I believe Koforidua will be better off if we are able to raise enough revenue and I’m determined to do that” he added.
Meanwhile, the Mayor has reiterated desire to fix deplorable roads in Koforidua.
Tackling on other challenges, the Mayor reiterated desire to provide adequate street lights to curb darkness in his municipality.
