Hour of Grace Orphanage Home at Huhunya in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region has appealed to cooperate bodies as well as individuals to periodically assist the facility at all times.
According to authorities, the facility depends mainly on donations and support from the general public to survive and therefore called for continuous support to make living better for the children.
The appeal was made at a presentation of clothes and food items to the facility by the management of Bryt FM, a subsidiary of Joy Daddy Multimedia as part of its cooperate social responsibility over the weekend.
The donation, which was spearheaded by producers of “Onwun Adwo”, a late-night show hosted on Bryt FM was to help put smiles on the children at the facility.
Authorities expressed gratitude to the management of Bryt FM for the kind gesture shown them, indicating the items would go a long way to lessen the burden of the school, especially in this era of the coronavirus pandemic.
They also appealed for immediate assistance to repair a school bus that has been malfunctioned for some years now, making transportation a major challenge to the facility.
Meanwhile, the management of Bryt FM also pledged the company’s commitment to the well-being of its cherished listeners, hence the decision to facilitate the donation.
