The communications officer of the New Patriotic Party in the Lower West Akyem Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Addo Kwasi Annor has urged NPP members of parliament who were retained in recent parliamentary Primaries to build a cordial relationship with Party leaders, polling station executives and entire electorates to retain the seat in Parliament in December polls.
He also called new candidates elected to begin working for uniting with those who contested and lost as well as aggrieved delegates immediately to win the seat in December to shame Naysayers.
In an interview after the parliamentary Primaries, Mr. Addo Annor observed that some incumbents lost their seats due to their “bad” relationship with Party leaders and delegates and charged winners to address all before the general elections to avoid defeat.
Mr. Addo Annor, who doubles as NADMO Director for West Akyem Municipal called on defeated aspirants and supporters to bury their differences and continue spreading achievements of the Akufo-Addo led administration to Ghanaians to vote wisely.
In a related development, Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong says most incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentarians who lost their seats lost because they do not pick calls.
According to him, he’s loved in the NPP because he’s the only member one who picks calls of foot soldiers across the country.
