Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem, George Mireku Duker joined Wassa Fiaseman Students’ Union, Takoradi Technical University branch for their First General Meeting to fraternise with the members.
The Deputy Lands and Natural Resources minister used the opportunity to urge the students to focus on their studies and build on their capacities in picking up leadership roles in their respective jurisdictions.
Hon. Mireku Duker emphasised that together with other stakeholders from the Wassa Fiase Land, they will always support and seek the welfare of the Union.
He was accompanied by Nana Ohyeawora Bian Nyowa Panin IV, Dompim Pepesahene, Dr Eric Bruce-Amartey, Dean of Students’ Affairs TTU, Mr Emmanuel Acquah, Snr Lecturer Faculty of Applied Arts and Technology, Nana Kojo Nkrumah I- Bonsah Hene and Nana Offori – Abakomahene of Pepesa.
He pledged his support to the Union and encouraged all interest groups to come on board to make Wassa Fiase a better place.
