The Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Julius A. Kuunuour earlier this morning, received a donation of four (4) pieces of 2.5 horse power Air- Conditioners and Thirty Two (32) pieces of Close Circuit Television (C.C.TV) Cameras from a businessman by name Mr. Samuel Kweku Boadi (CEO) of Samuel Kweku Boadi Enterprise) on behalf of the Service.
The brief ceremony which was held at the Ghana National Fire Service Headquarters in Accra was also attended by the Director of Finance, DCFO Mark Brako-Appiah Juniour, the Commanding Officer for National Headquarters, ACFO I James Oheneba Yaw Kwateng, Head of Public Relations, ACFO I Timothy Osafo-Affum and DOI Esther Nart-Newton of the Accounts department.
According to the Philanthropist, Mr. Samuel Kweku Boadi, “the Ghana National Fire Service does not only quench fires, they also need cooler offices to enable them work well for the country”.
Mr Boadi also promised of donating some undisclosed number of television sets to the Service Headquarters and the Fire Academy and Training School soon.
The Chief Fire Officer thanked the Management of Samuel Kweku Boadi Enterprise for their kind gesture, prayed for the forward advancement of his business and also used the occasion to call on other Philanthropists to emulate the good statesmanship demonstrated by Mr. Samuel Kweku Boadi.
