A Young lady believed to be in his late 20’s has met her untimely death whiles an Okada rider’s leg have got broken into pieces after an Articulated truck ranned over them at Gomoa Akoti on the Kasoa – Cape Coast Highway on Monday morning.
Sources Indicate that, the Okada rider and the deceased were traveling from Gomoa Akoti to Kasoa direction as well as the Articulator truck.
An eyewitness told Bryt Fm News that the Okada rider was riding in the middle of the road due to heavy vehicular traffic when the sad incident occured.
He said, the Okada rider decided to overtake the Articulator truck but a metal on the side of the Articulator truck pulled them to the ground entering on path of the back tyre of the truck leading to the death of the young lady whiles the okada rider’s legs also got broken.
The injured has been admitted at the hospital whiles the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
