The safety team of Effutu Municipal Command educated and trained the staff of Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) on how to prevent fires from occurring.
The team took the staff through the use of fire extinguishers and wet blankets to extinguish fires at the early stages.
The Effutu Municipal Manager of GWCL expressed his gratitude to the educators for taking them through such lesson.
He promised to collaborate with the command as stakeholders to serve the people of Effutu and its environs better.
He further promised on behalf of his staff that all that was taught shall be put into practice to help reduce the occurrence of fire outbreaks.
