The Effutu Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) has announced its readiness for the upcoming Aboakyer Festival in Winneba. To create awareness, security personnel from various agencies hit the streets of Winneba.
The joint security exercise involved the Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and Ghana Police Service.
According to ACP Abrahim Opoku, Divisional Police Commander, security personnel are prepared to maintain law and order during the festival.
“We are ever ready for this festival. The police, immigration, and prisons are all set to combat and arrest, and prosecute those who misbehave,” he emphasized.
The Ghana National Fire Service also assured the public of its preparedness to respond to any fire outbreaks during the festival.
ACP Opoku advised the public against harassing security personnel, urging everyone to cooperate with them to ensure a peaceful celebration.
With these measures in place, the stage is set for a successful and enjoyable.
